Jordan Spieth doesn’t keep up with the Kardashians after all.The 21-year-old Masters champ recalls a close encounter of the Kardashian/Jenner kind, telling ESPN’s Jason Sobel that Caitlyn Jenner once tried to fix him up with her daughter Kendall.

During a Southern California golf outing in 2013, Jenner, then Bruce, approached Spieth about going on a date with the teenage model. While many would jump at the chance to court the Estee Lauder spokesmodel, Spieth declined. He hadn’t the slightest clue who the Jenners were.
While we expect Spieth has a hunch as to who the Jenners are now, thanks in part to Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair cover story, the Texas-bred golfer had another reason to turn down Kendall: his high school girlfriend, Annie Verret.

“Annie’s good for Jordan,” Spieth’s mother, Chris, tells the New York Times. “He doesn’t need a celebrity girlfriend. He doesn’t want the attention.”
Sorry, Kendall, Spieth’s only got eyes for one brunette beauty.
