A source said: 'ITV is pulling out all of the stops to grab Rita. She has bee told that she could be the Queen of Saturday night telly like Cilla Black was.' It's not yet clear if this heightened offer will tempt the Hot Right Now singer as she has previously turned down offers from Simon Cowell to join The X Factor. However, speaking on KISS FM on Friday, she insisted that she was 'flattered' to be in demand. She said: 'It is very complimentary, of course. Watching a bidding war makes me feel special. I'm not going to get in to whether I have been made an offer but it is nice to even be rumoured to be in the running.' On Saturday, before her make-up free appearance, Rita had been seen out in London with Nick Grimshaw, who is also reportedly being eyed for an X Factor role. The pair were seen in deep conversation after having a drink at The Lansdowne in Camden as speculation they will be unveiled as the new judges on this year's series reached fever pitch.
