Bush has given at least 200 paid speeches, typically earning between $100,000 and $175,000 per appearance. But compared to the Clintons, he has attracted less attention as many of his engagements are at private events around the world. Most of the organizations that hosted Bush were reluctant to reveal how much they paid him, Politico said. "I signed a confidentiality agreement," Frances Atchison, the co-chair of the Distinguished Lecturer Series in Vero Beach, Florida, told Politico.
